Chirag Arts & Crafts began in 1990 in Calcutta as a silver manufacturing business built on craftsmanship, consistency and long-term relationships. It grew quietly, as a supplier does — behind other people’s counters.
In 2011 the business relocated entirely to Jaipur and started from scratch in a new market. There was no existing client base. The first years were difficult, and the only thing the house could trade on was the quality of the work leaving the bench.
The first major client in Jaipur was Pooja Silver House, Bombay. That partnership continues to this day, and it remains the number we would rather be judged on than any capacity figure.
Today Chirag Arts & Crafts produces silver jewellery and silver articles for prominent jewellery houses across India, from sampling through to bulk, under OEM and private label.
